From the smallest to the largest format, all our cardboard boxes are stamped RESY, meaning that this packaging is entirely recyclable. We even sometimes reuse certain cardboard boxes in perfect condition and give them a new lease of life for a new shipment!

Packing particles

Padding particles used

For many products shipped in cardboard, we use polystyrene chips with a recycling rate of at least 90%, with high cushioning properties and low compaction to hold and protect your precious objects. The low weight of these polystyrene chips reduces transport costs.

Shipping costs include preparation and packaging costs, as well as postage costs. The preparation costs are fixed, while the shipping costs vary according to the total weight of the package. It is important to note that the total weight of the parcel estimated by Déco-Alsace-Obernai is not binding, the real and valid weight being that given by the carrier.

We recommend that you combine all your items into one order. We cannot combine two separately placed orders and shipping charges will apply to each.

Your package is shipped at your own risk, but special care is taken with fragile items. 

Shipping information

Delivery is made to the address specified by you when placing your order. It is carried out by the carrier according to your choice and the compatibility of the carrier with the order.

The times indicated are the usual average times and correspond to the processing and delivery times.

Déco-Alsace-Obernai cannot be held responsible for the consequences of a delay in delivery. The dimensions of the packaging are appropriate, and your articles are correctly protected.

Some countries (Australia, Canada, China, United States, Guadeloupe, French Guyana, Iceland, Japan, Liechtenstein, Martinique, Mayotte, Norway, New Caledonia, Chinese G.A.R., Hong Kong, Reunion, United Kingdom, Switzerland and Ukraine) are subject to customs declarations. As the sender, we make the CN23 Customs declarations for these countries. However, you will have to pay the duties and taxes in force when your parcel arrives in these countries.

At any time, thanks to the parcel number communicated to you by email and by the carrier available in your Customer Account under the heading "Your Orders", you can track your parcel by connecting to the carrier's website to find out where it is.

In the case of items that can be delivered on different dates due to their availability, the delivery period is based on the longest period.

Déco-Alsace-Obernai reserves the right to split deliveries. The contribution to the processing and shipping costs will only be invoiced for a single shipment. In this case, an e-mail will be sent to you.

  • In case of absence or impossibility of delivery of your parcel by the carrier (no guard, ...), you will receive an email of suffering or informing of the provision in a relay or your factor deposits a notice of passage mentioning the date and the address of the post office where you will be able to withdraw your parcel on presentation of an identity document.
  • From the date mentioned on the delivery notice, you have 10 days to collect your parcel (7 days in a Relay Point and/or Locker). After this period, the parcel will be returned to Déco-Alsace-Obernai by the carrier. You will then be notified by e-mail.
  • After this time, your parcel is no longer available and will automatically be returned to the sender, resulting in return and re-shipment costs for you.
  • We invite you to contact us via the contact page to send you a credit card payment link to pay for the return and re-shipment costs. In the event of an order cancellation, the order will be reimbursed, minus the return shipping costs.
  • After a period of 2 months (60 days) without a response after the return of the package, a flat rate of €10 TTC will be applied for the management and search of the package.
  • In the event of an incomplete or erroneous address leading to a delivery error by the carrier, the parcel will be re-routed to Déco-Alsace-Obernai and you will be notified by e-mail. The return costs are entirely at the customer's expense and will be deducted from the amount paid if the order is cancelled.
  • Delivery is made to the address specified by you when placing your order. It is carried out by the carriers proposed above according to your choice and the compatibility of the carrier with the order. The times indicated are average times and correspond to the processing and delivery times.

You are legally responsible for the correct reception of emails and SMS received from your telephone.

Please check that you have received the emails sent by Déco-Alsace-Obernai and that you have received the SMS messages from the carriers in force. If necessary, remember to check your Spam/unwanted box.

All carriers use the email address and telephone number provided to enable you to track, receive and forward your parcel.

Déco-Alsace-Obernai cannot be held responsible for the consequences of a delay in delivery.

Carrier dispute

Delivery problems with another carrier

In the event of a delay in delivery, at least 7 days after leaving our warehouses, you must let us know by email with the order number so that our services can request an investigation from the carrier in charge of the delivery.

An investigation can take up to 8 days from the date of the start of the investigation. If the product is found during this period, it will be redirected immediately to the home address or the indicated relay point (in most cases). If, on the other hand, the product is not found at the end of the 8-day investigation period, the carrier will consider the package as lost.

After this period, Déco-Alsace-Obernai will send you back the goods ordered in the same condition, or reimbursement if one of the references is out of stock in the shop.

Déco-Alsace-Obernai declines all responsibility for non-receipt (Spam, full box etc...) or poor configuration of your email box, as well as the extension of delivery times due to the carrier, particularly in the event of loss of products or strike, non-payment of duties and taxes on exported products, and therefore no reimbursement or compensation can be paid.

For all relay point deliveries, no dispute relating to the delivery itself is possible if the parcel appears to have been delivered or proof of signature supporting the carrier, the computer system (flashing) of the carrier being authentic.

Delivery problems with the Post Office

In the event of a delay in delivery, at least 7 days after leaving our warehouses, you must let us know by email with the order number so that our services can request an investigation from the Post Office or any other carrier in charge of delivery.

An investigation can take up to 90 days from the date of the start of the investigation. If during this period the product is found, it will be immediately re-routed to your home (in most cases). If, on the other hand, the product is not found at the end of the 90-day investigation period, the Post Office considers the parcel to be lost.

After this period, Déco-Alsace-Obernai will refund the amount of the products concerned.

Déco-Alsace-Obernai declines all responsibility for the non-receipt of follow-up or availability emails (Spam, full box, etc.) or a bad configuration of your email box, as well as the extension of delivery times due to the carrier, in particular in the event of non-payment of duties and taxes on exported products, and therefore no reimbursement or indemnity can be paid.

For a delivery in registered letter and/or Colissimo Follow-up Without Signature in Mailbox, no dispute relating to the delivery in itself (strike, theft in mailboxes...) is possible if the parcel appears as having been delivered, the computer system (flashing) of the Post office being evidence.
