Note : Sometimes you can see very thin cracks in the glaze of the Baeckeoffe Terrine. This cracking is necessary to ensure the heat resistance of the piece.

A natural shrinkage of pottery ranging from 2 to 8% of the pottery is completely normal due to the phenomenon of evaporation of water being transformed into gas causing the molecules to move closer together.

It can also happen that a lack of paint can occur under the handles of the mould by turning it over, this is not a defect because everything is covered with the protective varnish and does not present an aesthetic lack because it is located under the handles and not visible.
